WS Opéra - Malesherbes

The location is excellent. Though my room was very small, it was perfectly adequate for my five night stay. The kitchenette, though not really useful for proper cooking, was perfect for preparing and storing things for breakfast or lunch that I had purchased from nearby supermarkets. The busy street outside is completely muted when the windows are closed.

Unfortunately it was very warm. My stay occurred at the end of one of summer’s intense heatwaves, and while the managers of the property can hardly be blamed for the weather, still the room and main corridor remained uncomfortably warm even several days after the heatwave had passed. The room did have two fans, a small tower fan, and a larger fan on the ceiling. These helped by moving the air around, but could do nothing to actually cool it. The rooms also only have windows to a busy street, so leaving the windows open so that the room can cool overnight is only possible if you can tolerate the street noise. Without the heatwave none of these issues would exist.

The location of property is really nice. Apartment itself pretty small but cozy, there is small kitchen with microwave, stove and fridge. So basically everything you need they have. I also did saw comments about room being too hot and without ac, when in reality we had 3 ACs/Fans there and fully opened window, so it was really nice.

Absence de climatisation, un petit ventilo qui brasse de l'air chaud. Entre l'etouffante chaleur de la pièce, et le bruit de ce petit ventilo nous avons très très mal dormi ; tout juste reposé ! Le bruit dans l'immeuble, il y avait du tapage (musique très forte, boom boom boom) à notre arrivée, et durant bonnes heures.
