About this chalet rental
Recently renovated! A perfect home for a weekend or weekly stay.
The initial entryway offers an ideal place to keep your skis/boots in the winter, or hiking/biking gear in the summer/fall.
You then walk into the main floor of the house which consists of a Queen bed/Bedroom 1 with full bath across the hall, as well as an open kitchen with dining room table (seating for 8) and adjacent high ceiling living room with fireplace. Both the bedroom and living room have access to a spacious deck with plenty of seating and propane Weber grill.
The wrap around steps take you upstairs to another Queen bed/Bedroom 2 and as well as a larger room/Bedroom 3 that has 1 Full and 3 twin beds, which is perfect for kids. In between there's access to another full bath.
All rooms on the main level and upstairs have wall-mounted Roku TV's and in the summer Bedrooms 2 & 3 have portable air conditioning units. There's also a wall-mounted air conditioning unit in the open living room/common area which cools the house nicely on the warm summer days.
In the basement there's a large sectional couch with wall-mounted Roku TV. As you walk to the far end of the basement there's Bedroom 4 with a Queen bed, which is perfect for a couple or older child that prefers more privacy. There's also a washer/dryer in a separate storage area right at the bottom of the steps. As you walk out of the basement there's a lower-level deck with a 7-person hot tub, perfect to come back to after a day on the slopes or an afternoon out fishing, hiking, or mountain biking.
Clean towels, hot tub towels and linens are provided. High speed internet is also included with a mesh unit on the main level and upstairs.
Guest access
All guests have access to the Chimney Hill Clubhouse, which includes an indoor/outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, fitness area, playground, kids recreation area, pool table, and arcade.
Near the clubhouse there's also basketball and tennis courts as well as a horseshoe pit. A short drive away at the bottom of the hill near the main entrance to the Chimney Hill community, there's tennis courts and pickleball courts, with the pickleball courts being converted into an ice-skating rink throughout the winter.
There's also access to the VAST snowmobile network from within Chimney Hill.
Mount Snow Ski Resort is a short 10 minute drive away and Stratton Mountain 30 minutes away. There's 2 golf courses nearby, Mount Snow Golf Club and Haystack Golf Course, as well as plenty of hiking and biking trails. Lake Whitingham is a 5 minute drive with boat access in multiple areas.

The house matches the listing details. It's clean, well maintained and in a quiet community. It has a remote location and feel, yet it's only a short drive to restaurants and shopping. It's a great southern VT location to enjoy what the area has to offer in the summer. I would stay there again.

Came for a ski trip for the weekend. Was a nice spot for friends to hang out. Had a lot of snow fall for the weekend which blocked the ground amenities but didn’t stop us from having a good time.

The house is a perfect place to stay while skiing / snowboarding Mt Snow. Accurate listing and Tim was wonderful.
