About this house rental
SUMMER VISITORS:
Built in 2020, located in the bay of Prairie Lake just a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids. This delightful 4-bedroom house with an elevated view of the lake is perfect for a summer escape. With amenities like heating, gas fireplace for cool night, WiFi, and a washing machine, guests can relax and unwind. The 2 bathrooms ensure convenience for all visitors. Includes private beach and dock, plenty of yard space for games or gatherings.
Cozy outdoor shed with electricity and AC for extra sleeping space (pull out couch and queen size mat loft). Sleeping space for 2-4 more, only available in the summer.
The private beach and dock includes a kayak, floating pad and paddle board for all kinds of summer family fun. Beach toys and towels included. Pontoon available (until October 1) at extra cost: $400/day or $1500/week to be agreed upon prior to arrival.
Beautiful primary suite includes large windows facing the lake, full bathroom, walk in closet and TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, closet and TV. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, bunk beds, closet and TV making for a great kids space. Futon in office area sleeps an extra person (or 2 kids) with closed door. Full size washer & dryer, ironing board and iron. Living room also has a pull out couch to fit 1-2 more.
Modern kitchen with all necessary amenities including double oven, Keurig and anything to make your stay convenient. Living room also has large windows and a gorgeous view of the lake.
The large 2.5 acre lot has a great yard for lawn games (will have many on site to use) and includes a playset for the kids.
With both a spacious front and back yard patio, both with seating space and firepits to enjoy a nice evening outdoors. Also a firepit close to the shed.

WINTER VISITORS:
Enjoy the awesome amenities of this home during the winter months where there is endless ice fishing and snowmobiling with access to the lake via the private beach just a short walk from the house.
Would be a great retreat house anytime of the year for a group just needing a getaway to see the fall leaves or enjoy a spring break!
Grand Rapids has all shopping you need for a pleasant stay, groceries, liquor stores, retail shops, breweries, plenty of restaurants and more!

The house is beautifully appointed. Plenty of towels and blankets. Nice selection of cookware. Beds are comfy. Cove on the water is quiet. We had a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful lake cabin. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the water. The boat was great and easy to use, making it perfect for exploring the lake and enjoying unforgettable sunset cruises. We loved spending time at the beach, relaxing while the kids swam and played on the lily pad. The kayak and paddleboard added even more fun to our days on the water.One of the highlights was taking the family to the gorge, it was such a memorable outing. Evenings were just as special, with cozy fires on the back deck and plenty of games that kept everyone laughing. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay stress-free and relaxing. This was truly the perfect spot for quality family time, and we will absolutely be coming back.

We stayed in the house for a week as two families of 4 with kids ranging from 11-15. The house is a great size and worked well for us! Its a very well built home which meant those of us who are early risers were able to do so without disturbing the ones who slept in! The house is super well equipped and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't available when it came to cooking and more. We also rented the pontoon for the week which I highly recommend. Prarie Lake is a nice sized lake and we enjoyed swimming & rock jumping. If you're looking for a fast paced week with lots to do, Grand Rapids is not the town for you. There are some nice shops & restaurants but not a lot of entertainment. But if you're looking for a week of water, outside space for games, relaxation & quality time we highly recommend staying here!
