Escape to our delightful river cottage in Black River Falls, where nature's beauty meets cozy comfort. Nestled along the tranquil Black River, this 3 bedroom charming retreat is your perfect haven for relaxation and adventure. Our quaint river cottage offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with a touch of rustic elegance. Featuring a blend of modern amenities and classic charm, it’s the ideal spot for couples, families, or small groups looking to unwind and explore.
The space
Welcome to the Black River Nest, your relaxing home away from home!
On the main floor, you’ll find a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Just off the kitchen is a deck where you can grill and relax.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, and you walk through it to reach the bathroom with a tub. The second bedroom has one queen bed and two full beds.
In the basement, you'll find a family room, bar area, laundry, and access to another deck.
We hope you enjoy your stay and feel at home here!
Other things to note
As our guest at the Black River Nest, you will have full access to the entire home, including all indoor spaces and the beautiful outdoor areas. Feel free to explore the creek and enjoy the peaceful water views. There's also a fire pit available for you to relax and make lasting memories.
We kindly ask that you do not access the garage or shed, and please refrain from using any items stored in them.

Internet was great. Kitchen had anything you needed for cooking! Very homey. We all felt cozy and comfortable just like our homes!
Only 2 issues, Stink bugs upstairs in the bathroom, (my daughter was freaking out)
and the Roku. Missed the game! 😥

Everything was excellent. The accommodations were beautiful. The home was comfortable and met all of our needs. The cottage is set in the most beautiful setting along the Black River. There were plenty of towels and the entire property was clean and ready for guests. The owners were easy to communicate with and we definitely hope to return.

We stayed here for a family reunion and had a great time. The location was perfect. Being right on the river means mosquitoes at times, that's what long sleeves and bug spray is for. We brought some SUPs and enjoyed putting in right from the dock on the property. The fire pit was also a big hit. We made good use of the entertainment options - the piano, giant checkerboard on the back porch, dart board and foosball table in the basement, and Cornhole in the yard. We almost missed the large selection of board games in the utility room but found them and enjoyed some of them as well. We lucked out with the weather so we're able to turn off the A/C overnight while opening the windows to let in the cool air and heat the birds outside - including a couple of eagles. The kitchen was great for what we needed with a large variety of pots and pans. We liked having a regular coffee maker in addition to a Keurig so we could choose what worked best for us.The washer and dryer were incredibly handy and allowed us to pack a bit lighter. The main floor bedroom doesn't have an actual door (as pictured on the website), but that didn't really matter as it's off on its own at the end of the hall. We actually just opened the basement door which blocked the hall enough to feel closed in. I highly recommend the property, and we will stay here again if we need family accommodations in Black River Falls.
