Open, airy, ranch style home with majestic views of Mt. Sopis. Private and serene location on the Ranch of The Roaring Fork. A short drive to ski the four Aspen Ski areas without the prohibitive cost of Aspen lodging. Hike, fish or bike the three hundred plus acres of common use land with 3 trout filled steams, seven ponds and two and one half miles of the Roaring Fork River. Trout fishing definitely the best in the area. Par Three golf course, tennis courts, playground on property . Awesome new Rio Grande bike path all the way from Aspen to Glenwood Springs where you can enjoy the famous Hot Springs Pool. Perfect location for all outdoor activities all year round. Ideal for multifamily vacations.

Love this place. View of horse farm out the back by hot tub. Wife and some relatives drive back to Glenwood for the hot springs which was easy. For us skiers, was like 30 minutes, give or take for weather, to Brush Creek park and ride with free parking and easy access to the mountains by bus. Easy drive back to Aspen for a comedy show at the Wheeler opera house in the evening. Usually Rio Grande parking garage is free after 5 or 6 and easy access to town... but was closed due to a concert when we were there. Oh well, got lucky with a spot in town.House is older, but has everything you need for a good trip and a great value for the RFV. Just to show how great the owners/hosts were, there was a problem with one of the beds in one room. Didn't affect us because they were instantly on it and got a whole new bed for the room! Really great people. Can tell by the books on their bookshelves.

This house was perfect for a group and exactly as listed, with lots of amenities and a convenient location to both Carbondale and skiing in Aspen.

Our group enjoyed the beautiful views out back. We had plenty of space for the 7 of us. The beds were comfy and the living areas were also. The kitchen was well stocked except for baking sheets. However, there were spices and various cooking accessories needed to make a home cooked meal so we made do with what we had. The location really was not far from the ski hills and the neighborhood was charming.
