About this house rental
This charming, character-filled 2-storey, 4-bedroom home has undergone extensive renovations, blending the warmth of a family beach house with modern conveniences and luxurious amenities, including Wi-Fi and two fully-equipped kitchens.
The home features three spacious living areas. One opens onto a large deck offering stunning 180-degree views of the ocean, Bar Beach, Merimbula Lake, and the town. The second living area leads to a private eastern garden balcony, while the third, located downstairs, includes a kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, stove top, and kettle, as well as entertainment options like a table tennis table, foosball table, games, puzzles, and books. Two TVs, a DVD player, and a CD player are also provided.
The upstairs kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with ocean views, an oven, stove top, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, and a refrigerator. There’s also an adjacent barbecue on the west-facing deck.
Bedroom 1 and 2 feature Queen beds, Bedroom 3 has two single beds, and Bedroom 4 includes two double-decker bunks and a King single bed.
The house includes 3 bathrooms, an outdoor hot/cold shower, and full laundry facilities with a washer and dryer. There are two clotheslines, one of which is undercover. The garden also features a basketball hoop.
The property offers undercover parking for two cars, along with two open parking spaces. It is located approximately 100 meters from Bar Beach, 2.5 km from the town center, and directly across from the accessible Lake Street walkway, with views of the lake.

The house was in a great location, right across the street from Bar Beach. House very tired, but served our purpose well of 2 young families spending a holiday together (including infants and kids up to 8 years old). Included lots of board games and toys, and the foozeball table was a hit with the kids.The major downside for us was the house was not very clean - the floors had not been vacuumed and mopped, which was unpleasant with babies crawling on floors. Tables had dead bugs and there were spider webs and dust across floors and tables, fridge had not been wiped out, also dirty underwear and t-shirt in bedroom cupboard that must have been left from the last guests. The worst was that one bed had sheets that did not fit, with exposed old mattress underneath which was not what I expect for the price we paid for the week. Having said that, the property management team were very responsive and came and changed the bed sheets on Easter Sunday. There was no offer to have the house itself cleaned again though. All in all, the house was great for our purposes, but I think the property managers and cleaners need to lift their game with this place and take a little more care.
