Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Memory Lane
Lovely little cottage, very tastefully decorated throughout. Comfy beds. Central to everything and within walking distance of convenience store, pubs etc. Easy to find parking right nearby. Lovely little garden just across from the front door to sit out in, and electric fireplace in living room for those chillier days/nights. Loved that it was small dog friendly with a safety gate to prevent a dog guest from going up the steep steps to the bedrooms above. There was a cake left for us in the refrigerator which was a nice touch.
The living room is small with two tiny sofas, which is perfectly fine if there’s just two of you, but would be a bit cramped for a group of four if all wanted to be in there at the same time. That being said presumably most people go to Flamborough to be outdoors for the most part and so wouldn’t need to be using the living room space too much.

A lovely memorable stay in Memory Lane cottage.
Owners obviously take a pride in their property. We felt very welcome- coffe tea milk and cake left to welcome us. Spotlessly clean and well equipped . Bright well presented cottage and in a good location.Convenient car parking close by.
The only downside was that living in a bungalow at 83 years old we struggled a bit with the stairs.This is why we have given 9 out of 10

A lovely little cottage
The cottage is in the centre of Flamborough in a row of similar cottages. Despite its central location it was quiet. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a walk-in shower on the first floor. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a small utility type room accessed via the kitchen with a washing machine and space to leave boots. There is also a nice outdoor seating area equipped with table and 4 chairs. Whilst there is no on-site parking, we were able to park our car just a short walk (2 minutes) away.
It would have been useful to have a small nest of tables in the living room on which to place mugs and plates.
