The property has been recently renovated to a high standard and was extremely clean on arrival. It was lovely and warm (controlled by you while you were there) which is always a plus! The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed in the lounge. There were nine people in our group, and whilst three were our kids, they are of adult size! The sitting area is a little tight for nine people and although we managed, it's just something to bear in mind if you think you will spend a lot of time in the property. A kettle and a few more mugs would have been useful for our cups of tea and coffee in the morning; we had to boil a pan of water and take turns in having a brew! Not the end of the world! The property is located in the mid-teer of the town and is a 5 minute walk from the pedestrian chair lift. We only used it once as the queues often outweighed the benefit of waiting and we used to walk down to the resort centre which took around 15 mins. Walking back up after a day of skiing (officially the chair lift closes at 5.30pm albeit it continued until later than this on occasion) was a killer! That's until we discovered the bus!!! There is a bus that leaves the centre (outside the Melia hotel) every 30 mins and for €2 will take you to the mid-teer (via the top-teer - don't be alarmed!). You do have to tell it to stop though! We arrived in the resort a little earlier than expected and were extremely grateful to be able to get into the property slightly earlier than planned. Big thank you to the owners for accommodating this.

As we had booked a private transfer to the resort, we were dropped off at the apartment with all of our luggage etc. The keys however had to be collected from the resort centre which was a bit of a pain. It would be more convenient for the keys to be placed in a key safe at the property so that the walk down to the resort and back (took nearly an hour in total) could be avoided after a long journey.
