Stunning first experience of the converted church, by the Lamlash beach. Excellent house, with brand new furniture, appliances and utensils, beautifully decorated. Great architectural design with enough space to accomodate 3-4 persons, in two floors, allowing privacy for those who wish to turn in early. Separate WC in ground floor, plus two bathrooms on the upper floor, one for each bedroom. A short-form instruction manual allows easy use of all appliances without having to read the complete manufacturer manual. Heating system provided enough calories, in spite of outside temperatures being below zero. Owner provided full instructions to drive from the port to the house, as well as instructions for the entry codes. Parking space was available for free. Excellent experience, cossy atmosphere, we felt like moving-in to a brand new home! Since we visited in December 2025 with long nights, we spent a lot of time inside and we had the opportunity to highly appreciate what this home had to offer.

Arran shores is a beautiful building in a great location with great apartments. It was super easy to find and our host was very attentive. The apartments are decorated to a high standard. Lamlash is a lovely little village and brodick is 5 mins drive. We had easy access to everything we needed.
The bedroom storage is limited, especially in bedroom 2. It was great that there was a washing machine but the dryer wasn't great. We used the airer, you just have to make sure to plan ahead

The flat is spacious, clean, comfortable furnishings & close from the ferry terminal. The apartment is just beside the shores. Enjoyed the long night walks alongside the beach with the mesmerising view of moon & stars.
