Stoney Stay - SJA Stays - Modern 2 Bed Apartment

Beautiful clean and modern home, can tell it is looked after. Great location right in the middle of town. We left some items behind and the cleaning staff were so quick to communicate with us and help organizing us to collect.

Parking was tricky as there is not a dedicated space, just street parking. Also no elevator so had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs.

The property is gorgeous! It has been finished to a very high standard. Quality furnishings, lovely design and great linens, towels and even cutlery of a good quality. Particularly loved the wee window seats with excellent views out to beach and sea. Shower room is modern and very well designed. Love the sliding door! Even the cupboard in the bigger bedroom was amazing, spotless and beautifully clean white paint work with excellent storage.

**this is not specific to the property but more to the building as a whole.** The building is old and the carpets on the stairs could do with a clean. The first landing has peeling paint and evidence of water ingress. On the 2nd floor the flat owner there has combustible materials outside the door and adjacent to the stairwell. Cardboard etc. Access to the apartment is via many stairs so would not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues. We struggled a bit but definitely worth it for the quality of the apartment at the top!

Great location and facilities

Not sure if I missed it in the description but this property is up a lot do stairs, it wouldn’t be suitable for everyone.

Schoen eingerichtet, modern, sehr guter Zustand. Eigentlich auch gut ausgestattet.

Keine Kaffeemaschine, weder für Filterkaffee noch für Kaffee-pods (Automat). Weiche Betten und nur ca. 150cm breit ! Keine Haken fuer Handtuecher im Bad ! Gerade wenn man mit 4 Personen unterwegs ist, ist das sehr unpraktisch. Sehr viele Moeven um das Haus herum, die Abends um morgens recht aktiv (laut) waren, insbesondere, wenn sie sich um ihre Jungen kuemmerten (2 Nester direkt am Appartment)…ist aber halt die Natur .
