The SENSE FUJI

This is like a beautiful glamping experience. Remember to reserve the onsen that is all for your group only, and you get to enjoy the view of Mount Fuji right in front of you.

The hotel gives you glamping experience with Fuji view. Facilicity and decorations are quite luxury. Room is spacious. The dinner and breakfast were okay. Since it's prepared for each room privately in camping style right in front of your room ( which my family loves) , it is understandable that most of the menu elements are not complex / special menus but rather quite simple. The only negative point I have here is that we were staying in Quadruple room with 4 beds but the bathroom was not privated enough. The was a curtain that allows you to close while showering/bathing but the curtain was super transparent and we could see people naked inside!

This place is really wonderful. You can see Mt.Fuji from your bed. The private onsen is the one thing you cannot miss. The staff is really good at English, and I see a dedication to serving customers with a fully passionate service mind. I’ll be back there again for sure.

The property is beautiful and very quiet, and the staff provided good customer service throughout our stay. However, the location is quite remote and far from most attractions. Several facilities, such as the private onsen, require an additional charge of JPY 10,000 per hour, which felt excessive given that the room rates are already high. Breakfast is also not included, and there are no convenience stores nearby. As the hotel is located along a mountain route, driving is required even for basic necessities. As a result, we ended up having a few meals consisting only of cup noodles. This hotel is best suited for guests who intend to spend most of their time on the property. Otherwise, it may feel like poor value for money—especially on days when Mount Fuji is covered by clouds, as the main highlight of the stay is the view. We stayed in the Quadruple Room with Mountain View. The room has only one bathroom, and it features a semi–see-through bathroom curtain. This arrangement was uncomfortable for our group (my parents, my sister, and myself), despite being a family. I am also unsure what type of travelers this layout is intended for, as it would likely be awkward even for a group of four friends or two couples. Anyone using the bathroom is visible unless the others leave the room and wait outside, which is inconvenient, especially in cold weather. Overall, given the price paid, I feel the experience did not fully justify the cost, and there are likely better options available at this price point.
