Nice hostel with even better staff!

The location is quite good, loved the rooftop, lots of seating option in the common area. The cafe serves really good food for reasonable prices. Beds were comfy and the dorms in general good organized. But the staff were the best, helped me with a lot of stuff and would always be open for a chat. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Amazing location, right in the middle of the city. The rooftop is nice, we had a very nice dinner there. It has some board games and a good vibe there. You can pay by card, but you have an ATM right besides it.

Best Hostel stay in Jaipur (almost till now)

Location, common area, beds, bathrooms. Everything was maintained. Rooftop restaurant with the view and common area was just excellent.

first time with Shalom and it was a great experience

We had an excellent 2-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. A special mention to Pradeep, Vishal, and Gaurav – all three were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. What truly stood out was Pradeep’s kindness — even after our check-out, he graciously allowed us to stay in the hotel premises until 7 PM, making our travel plans so much smoother. The entire property felt safe, and the service was warm and genuine. It’s rare to find such hospitality these days. Looking forward to returning here on our next trip!

If you are girls in hope for a full size mirror to get ready then you are out of luck, no full size mirror in dormitories

Nice modern hostel- easy improvements would enhance the experience.

Dormitory beds were comfortable, AC worked very well, shower was good, rooftop cafe had great views and good food. The hostel is great value for money.

The dormitory beds had no curtains for privacy in the room. The staff were loud when checking guests into the dorm who arrived late (after midnight). Beds are arranged head to head so when inconsiderate guest make noise its really disturbing

Great room, lovely rooftop, would come again

We were in the double room with the big window and loved it. Sitting on the windowsill and watching the street/park was wonderful. The room was spacious. The rooftop has a nice vibe, food was nothing special but good.

The water pressure in the shower was very low. Otherwise a good hotel/hostel

Shalom is best way to stay safely or more comfortable rooms and beds, the café area which serves quality food and drinks . Also it is located in city center. Everything is outstanding and wonderful.

I had an amazing stay at Shalom Jaipur! The room was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The host (Shiv) was extremely helpful and made sure all my needs were met. He will make your whole itinerary that how to explore places around. The hospitality truly made the experience memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaipur! They will make your itinerary

Memorable Stay in Hostel

I had a fantastic stay at Shalom Backpackers Jaipur! The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had a very welcoming vibe, perfect for backpackers and solo travelers. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to meet other travelers.

Cafe- The environment there didn’t quite match my expectations, and I felt that it wasn’t as relaxed as I would have liked. Additionally, the rules seemed to change frequently, which was a bit confusing and frustrating at times. It would be great if there were more consistency in that regard.

No repetiria

Ubicacion centrica. La habitación es espaciosa, sin embargo, tambien le falta cuidado. Estaba fria, asi que nos dieron un calentador que sirvio mucho.

Mas sucio y deteriorado de lo que esperaba. Sobretodo en la zona del restaurante, bastante sucio (utilizaban un trapo para limpiar los platos y con el mismo las mesas, sus manos, etc). Le falta cuidado. Tardaban mucho en entregar la comida. A La habitacion tambien le faltaba cuidado, las sabanas manchadas y antiguas.

Muy buena ubicación y personal amable

Vishal fue muy amable y me ayudó reservándome tuk tuk y recomendándome cosas de la ciudad. Agradecí mucho tener el bar en el último piso para cenar allí.

La limpieza es un punto que se podría mejorar bastante. Y, si bien el bar está muy bien, la música estaba siempre demasiado alta lo que impedía relajarse y desconectar del caos de la ciudad.

Sehr dreckiges Hostel an guter Lage

Die Lage im Zentrum war gut und das Essen im Restaurant hat sehr geschmeckt! Gut ist, dass es Wasserspender gibt.

Das Hostel ist sehr dreckig und heruntergekommen. Das Zimmer, das Bettzeug, das Badezimmer und auch alles andere in der Unterkunft ist schmutzig. Aus dem Abfluss kommt ein unangenehmer Geruch und die Duschbrause war verkalkt und rostig. Es gibt keinen Gepäckraum. Man soll es einfach an die Reception stellen, die nicht immer besetzt ist.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo ostello a Jaipur e ci siamo trovati bene. Le camere sono abbastanza pulite e il rooftop è piacevole, con diverse serate organizzate che rendono l'atmosfera vivace. La colazione e la cena erano buone, e ci hanno persino portato la cena in camera. Abbiamo anche utilizzato il servizio lavanderia, tutto senza problemi. Consigliato per chi cerca un posto comodo e accogliente in città, posizione top!!!

Es un lugar cómodo y con buena ubicación. Su personal es atento. Tienes agua gratis

Los baños eran demasiado sucios, la gente fumaba ahí y dejaba todo en el suelo, no había papel higiénico, la gente comida dentro de las habitaciones y el olor era fuerte.

אחלה חדרים, צוות ממש נחמד וידידותי, מסעדה טובה בגג, רמה גבוהה של הוסטל. יש גם אחלה גג לשבת בנוסף למסעדה.

לא היו מים חמים בכלל למרות שהיה דוד, הייתה נזילה מכל צינור אפשרי בחדר המקלחת, והאינטרנט לא עובד טוב.

Schön, ABER nicht so Schön!

Die Lage und das Konzept sind super! Das Hostel hat schöne Farben und Design, initial ganz gute Ideen. Teil des Personals sehr nett und aufmerksam!

Es ist alles leider mit einem großen ABER verbunden. Schön gemacht, ABER ganz schlecht erhalten, ist richtig schmutzig! Teil des Teams nett, ABER eine Person übergibt sich in Badezimmer, mit offenen Türen, in Gemeinschaftszimmer mit Gäste (um 08:00 Uhr morgens)!!! So was habe ich nie erlebt! Internet gibt's, ABER funktioniert nicht. Kaffeeladen auf Dachterrasse gibt's, ABER ist zu. Man kann über Booking zahlen, doch nicht. wirklich schade, der Laden hätte Potentiall eine richtig coole Ecke zu sein.

OSTELLO IN CENTRO

L'ostello è in ottima posizione per visitare il centro di jaipur, ha una bella terrazza e camere private accoglienti e pulite. Il personale è stato molto gentile, avevamo prenotato 2 notti ma poi abbiamo deciso di anticipare la partenza per Pushkar, ci hanno cancellato la seconda notte senza farci pagare!

La doccia erogava poca acqua.
