Lost Shore Surf Resort

The surfing shore view was great, waking up to the sound of waves was so great. Place was clean and giving a resort vibe.

Very clean. Staff were friendly. Beautiful location. The accommodation was fantastic and well kept. Everything was just as advertised.

Some of the accommodations are quite far from the car park and you can’t take your car there.

The pod is very modern with keypad controlled heat, window blinds, etc. Wifi is good. Comes with coffee maker , kettle & small fridge. The shower is a “ship’s shower” with the entire washroom being the shower stall. I like that efficiency of space but might not appeal to most people.

Signage is bad. Parking is a VERY long way from any lodging. You need to drag your suitcase across a gravel lot, figure out where reception is (the sign in the parking lot indicates it is at the lot but it’s actually way, way down a hill - then the pods are way, way back up the hill). Astoundingly inconvenient. The kicker, for me, was to find the previous occupant’s trash still in the wastebasket & the floor was sandy getting into your socks & eventually most everything
