The house looked relatively modern overall and was generally clean on first impression.
The living areas were ok, and the property had the potential to be comfortable if the other issues had been addressed.
We stayed for 3 nights as a group of 6 adults and 2 children and were disappointed with several aspects of the property. For a 4-bedroom house hosting a group of this size, providing only 2 toilet rolls for the entire stay was not acceptable. The listing mentioned a tea/coffee maker, but there was only a kettle. The living room ceiling light was missing the bulb, although this was acknowledged and apologised for, nobody came to fix it during our stay. A big problem was the heating and overall comfort of the house. There was a draft coming through the windows, even though they were closed, the curtains were moving because of it, the house felt cold. We repeatedly turned the thermostat up to around 21-22, but after a short time it kept dropping back down to 17, then 14. This happened repeatedly throughout the evening, and we had to keep turning it back up, it felt as though the heating was being adjusted remotely by someone else. The Wi-Fi was also terrible, the worst we have experienced, and it is advertised as having high speed internet, not the case here. It was unusable on phones, and even with just the TV connected you could not even load Netflix or YouTube. We had to use our own mobile hotspot to get internet access on TV. We were told the provider would be contacted, but nothing improved during the entire stay.
They charge £110 for professional cleaning, but we found a dirty sock behind one of the sofa cushions in the living room and another dirty sock in one of the built-in wardrobes upstairs, which made us question how well the house had been cleaned before our arrival.
Overall, the property was let down by poor supplies, misleading information, poor maintenance, lack of follow-through, unreliable heating, and unusable internet.
I DON'T RECOMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE, THE PRICE IS WAY TO HIGH FOR WHAT YOU GET.

El alojamiento estaba en una zona residencial donde se podía aparcar bien.
Esta cerca del aeropuerto (a 15 min) y a 15/20 de Edimburgo.
Los cuartos eran bastante amplios y la casa en sí está bien para 8 personas.
Había cosas sucias de la cocina sucias y del salón.
No había tazas y cosas de la cocina suficiente para 8 personas.
Si el alojamiento está habilitado para 8 personas debería tener una mesa para poder comer los 8 juntos.
Tuvimos que desayunar algunos de pie porque solo había 4 mesas y cuando estás de vacaciones te gusta compartir momentos con tus acompañantes.
Los estores de los cuartos dejaban entrar totalmente la claridad y amanecía a las 5:30 de la mañana.
