Teiú Hostel Trancoso

One of the best hostels I've been to. Starting from the staff and volunteers, friendly, talkative, super helpful in planning and even reimbursed me a night as I was stranded in the previous city due to a bus fault. Location is 10 min walk to the quadrato, but I actually preferred here as there are plenty of cheap buffet options, compared to the super inflated restaurants in the quadrato. The hostel has a cool touch and is very well furnished (plenty of kitchenware, nice solid beds with curtains, very clean throughout).

The square in front of the hostel was quite busy at night until very late, bring earplugs! Being an open space (no windows in common room) there are plenty of mosquitoes. Maybe some candles or similar to prevent bites would be nice.

Aquest hostal és dels millors on hem estat. Les habitacions son compartides i diferenciades entre homes i dones. Però tots els llits tenen una cortina per guanyar privacitat i una zona d’emmagatzamatge on guardar les teves coses. Les zones comunes estan netes i la cuina molt ben equipada. A més està molt ben ubicada: just a la plaça principal.

Vam tenir mala sort i hi havia un concert just davant de l’hostal amb la música ben forta. Però l’allotjament ens va donar taps.

Gostei muito da voluntária Daina, super atenciosa, manteve as coisas bem limpas e organizadas.

Não gostei do barulho que fazia proximo ao hostel( barzinhos), era muito alto. No quarto feminino era menos, mas no masculino era bem alto.

Loveky owners, comfortable, private beds, super clean and great kitchen facilities. Close to the supermarket, beacbes and restaraunts

Be aware of Loud music playing until 5am in the morning unable to sleep at weekends. I had to leave a day early due to not being able to sleep.
