It was very safe to get in. You need a reservation to enter.
The location, it isn't the safest but the way the building is with only a reservation or a key to get in, gave me a peace of mind.

Room was clean, no odd odors in the room, comfy bed, working tv, clean bathroom, easy check in.
Showers temperature nozzles were hard to adjust properly. The rooms walls are thin, but to be fair its an old building. It was challenging to sleep though due to either noises of other guests or people talking in the halls.

Location easily accessible to downtown by public transportation. Room well furnished with brand new TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, including ground coffee!
Office only officially open until 6 pm ; after that you have to call and rouse the manager. To her credit she came out at 1 a.m. to check me in, but it was sketchy for sure. Best to arrive during business hours, and definitely let them know if you have a later arrival. Exterior quite worn. Upstairs rooms make a lot of noise in downstairs rooms just from walking around.

Price and proximity to Summerfest (by car). Hard to rate this place because it depends what you r looking for, hence the 6.0. If u r looking for a luxury stay, this is not meant for you. If you are just looking for a place to bed down after walking the cement at Summerfest all day, then this can work for you. The bed was comfy, the ac worked, and Cheri the manager was friendly and accommodating. So it worked well for us.
I coulda used a towel rack in the bathroom. 😆
