The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was served hot every morning and was absolutely delicious. The room was beautiful and the king size bed was comfortable.

There was some dust on the floor in our bedroom. It seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a while. Also, the bathroom was very small. We couldn’t shut the bathroom door while taking a shower because then the shower door wouldn’t be able to open.

Super friendly staff! Very comfortable and cozy! Enjoyed the huge porch for drinks at night and wonderful breakfast in the morning! Would definitely stay here again!!

The bathtub

We were highly dissatisfied with our stay.  There were many issues.  First of all it was dishonest to say there was a mini fridge in the room. (I had wrote the owner about needing a fridge for my medications and was assured there was one in every room.) Secondly the website description said there was a fireplace in the room.  Steve was asleep when we arrived in the bed in the back and we made attempts to wake him up without having to walk up to him physically to do so.  The walls were under repair and not painted.  Next we were shown our room through unsafe steep steps through a wet messy basement.  My exact words of the room was a dungeon.  There was no ventilation in our room.  There was mold spots on the ceiling.  There was a dehumidifier in the room which didn’t work and one vent in the room to the side of the bed which I could no feel air flow.  There was a closet for the fuse box that was so dirty and rusted it seemed a fire hazard, there was this broken down material that looked like termite debris at the bottom.  We felt like there was not enough air to breathe and had to take breaks to go outside for fresh air in the middle of the night.  The entrance to the location and to our private entry to the back was overgrown vegetation making it hard to drive through and not scratch your car as well as walk through to the path as most of the plants attracted a significant amount of bees.  There was one plug available on the outside wall.  The bed was very uncomfortable.  The lights flickered which was a concern for an electrical issue. To top it off I was promised a 42% refund on 9/5 that would take 3-5 business days and 16 days later I’m still waiting, the owner is trying to figure out the best way to get the funds to me. Other rooms bookings were incorrect as well. I don’t believe the website has been updated since the new owner bought the B and B a year ago. The place has a lot of potential but lacks organization and accountability on the business side.
