Beautiful beautiful historic property in the middle of the old town, well within reach of all parts of the city. There’s loads of space and a fabulous secret garden. It’s very special. We didn’t want to leave!
One of the showers was broken and another had no hot water when we arrived, but management sorted within hours.

A very special Villa with historical connections to Madeira.
The location is central but not noisy and with a private garden for relaxing and outdoor dining.
Many restaurants and cafes nearby.
The apartment is very spacious with a huge amount of storage and furnished to a very high standard.
Excellent hosts who were able to extend our check-out time - much appreciated.
Air-con in the lounge area was not working - which got a bit hot.
Opening the garden patio doors kept the room a bit cooler
