Un séjour absolument exceptionnel, probablement l’un de nos plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage au Japon. Le logement est magnifique : spacieux, parfaitement propre, très confortable, avec une vraie atmosphère japonaise qui donne immédiatement le sentiment d’être ailleurs. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, et le prendre avec cette vue plongeante sur la ville était un vrai moment de bonheur. Mais ce qui a rendu cette expérience vraiment unique, c’est surtout l’accueil. Notre hôte a été d’une gentillesse rare, chaleureuse, attentionnée et sincère. En discutant, nous avons appris qu’elle était chanteuse de jazz. Étant moi-même passionné de jazz, nous sommes ensuite allés lui rendre visite dans son bar, où elle nous a offert un moment incroyablement spécial avec sa famille, en jouant quelques morceaux pour nous. Elle nous a même offert des exemplaires de son disque. Ce n’était plus simplement une nuit dans un hébergement, mais une vraie rencontre humaine, authentique et inoubliable. 心から感謝しています。本当にありがとうございました。 Kokoro kara kansha shiteimasu. Hontō ni arigatō gozaimashita. Nous vous remercions du fond du cœur pour votre accueil, votre générosité et ce souvenir que nous garderons longtemps. Nous reviendrions sans hésiter et recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés.

A gem. We had a great time staying here. The hosts are both so friendly and welcoming. The house is full of beautiful decorations and furnitures. We especially love the seats by the garden. My kids love the garden with fish and turtles so much that they visited the garden a couple of times during our stay. Even though there are many items in the house, everything and every corner is spotless clean! We appreciate the house very much, we hope all guests to come will appreciate and cherish this gem like us.

the building itself is beautiful and exceptionally preserved and feels like something from another era. the furnishings within are comprehensive and comfortable, and it’s the only property we stayed at the entire trip where the two beds were not next to each other to save space. the garden is lovely and has a lot of butterflies, but the house itself has mosquito repellent so you don’t need to worry about them. we were served a delicious breakfast is on the top floor of the building next door and you get an excellent view over the city from the windows, including sakurajima in the distance. also there’s a piano and i fiddled with it a bit. i haven’t played in years but it was like practicing after school. i also want to take a moment to thank the hosts. my mother tragically got sick on our second day and they were very kind. they kept very quiet while she rested and lileth made my mother a vegetable congee that my mother enjoyed. also i want to thank her husband because he was growing loquats and they were right in season! he gave me a fresh one picked right off the tree and it was so good! absolutely amazing experience and like no other hotel or ryokan i’ve stayed it. it really is like a warm home except it’s full of antiques you didn’t collect, a garden you didn’t grow, and with excellent neighbours except they own your house HAHA. 100/10 would stay again.

this isn’t a problem with the property but uber drivers often park on the street behind them instead of the front so you have to run around and down a hill because there is no direct access. the hosts are happy to help though! i was just in a rush hahaha
