Gästehaus Bergwald

Tucked away in a quaint, green setting at the foot of a hill, this property offers a peaceful escape. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, and each came with a private balcony as advertised, though we didn't get the chance to use it ourselves. The hosts were friendly and responded promptly to our questions, whether by phone or message. Hikers and bikers ready for an adventure might find the property perfectly suitable.

The location wasn't ideal for us as we relied on public transport, and getting to the property was more challenging than expected, though the hosts were helpful in providing a taxi contact, which was a relief. The rooms, while comfortable, were missing a few conveniences. Since the property doesn't offer food or drinks on site, a kettle and a couple of cups or glasses in the room would have been a welcome addition. Shower gel also wasn't listed in the amenities, so we brought our own but found there was no holder or case in the shower to keep it in. The balcony, though spacious, wasn't clean.|

Die Küchenausstattung war sehr gut (allerdings war der Herd etwas langsam). Es gab ausreichend Geschirr. Die Kühlschrankleistung war gut. Die ruhige Lage war sehr erholsam.

Betten waren etwas zu kurz und hätten bequemer sein können. Eine dezentere Beleuchtung in Küche und Wohnbereich wäre angenehmener gewesen. Im Bad wären zusätzliche Haken für Handtücher wünschenswert gewesen.
