Clean and functional small studio, great friendly hosts and a kick-ass beautiful location

I visited the guest house in mid-October, and it was still fully booked. The location is a bit hard to reach with Google Maps due to the recent updates of the village streets, better to use Waze. Luckily the hosts contact you upfront and give you proper instructions. The hosts live on site and are extremely friendly and helpful. Although the land in front of the property is meant for parking, they allowed me to park my motorcycle in their backyard for safekeeping. They gave me grapes and let me pick a few Chinese persimmons from the trees they look after. The apartment they gave me was small, but extremely functional. One huge double-bed, one double-decker bed; a small kitchen and bathroom. The windows everywhere were brand new and high quality, and with mosquito nets. The ACC was quiet and relatively new. The balcony was pointing to the backyard and other neighboring houses, so no fancy views, but the surroundings of Agios Nikolaos are amazing - extremely beautiful hills.

The only two things that bothered me a bit, was: 1. how thin the walls were between the bathrooms of adjacent rooms. My "neighbors" by room were quiet themselves, but whenever they used the bathroom to shower, or the toilet to..., I could hear everything in High Definition. Which was definitely not pleasant during the night or early in the morning. This is easily avoided with a pair of ear plugs while sleeping, but if you're awake and simply resting, it can get a bit annoying. 2. The little fridge I had in the room had a very noisy compressor, which started squeaking sometime in the middle of the night - I noticed because I woke up (for another reason), heard the noise and got startled. Considering everything else that might've gone wrong with my stay, I'd say these two things are small matters, so I'm pointing them out only to help people, who are more "sensitive" to such noises, to avoid booking and being left "disappointed". Personally, I'd gladly have these two problems, rather than a bunch of other common issues I've ran into properties over the years, like squeaky uncomfortable beds, no ACC, noisy neighbors or bad hosts.

Charming, excellent location.

Vlad and Irina were incredibly hospitable, helpful, and very kind. They provided excellent recommendations for the general area and even helped me get to the beach when I had rental car trouble...free of charge. I can't thank them enough! View is great... Couls see Athos and the sea from my balcony. One of the best aspects was the comfortable bed and sheets. It was the nicest I've slept on during my entire three weeks in Greece. I'll definitely return here next time I come to Halkidiki! The village square, a short walk away, had affordable and EXCELLENT food. Might be the best food I had in all of Greece.

Výborná lokalita s ohledem na cenu. Blízkost hezkého centra tradiční řecké vesnice. Vtipný a kamarádský pan domácí. Výhled na moře.

Joli appartement confortable

Nous avons été reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse par Irina et Vladimir qui nous ont offert une bouteille de vin produite par un ami. La chambre est très confortable avec un grand balcon d'où nous pouvons voir la mer et le mont Athos. Le village est facilement accessible à pied on y trouve toutes les commodités. Si la météo avait été plus clémente nous aurons allongé notre séjour de quelques jours.

Большое спасибо Владимиру за комфортные апартаменты и приятную компанию! Останавливался в этих апартаментах осенью 2024. Хозяин сразу после бронирования перезвонил и объяснил как удобнее доехать. Перед домом большая частная парковка. Номер просторный с хорошей современной техникой, большая удобная кровать. Есть большой холодильник, сенсорная электроплита, кондиционер, горячая вода, потолочный вентилятор, телевизор, wi-fi. Вид на горы и море завораживающий. Хозяин Владимир очень интересный собеседник который рассказал нам много интересного про историю Греции и ее влияние на мировую культуру. Советую эту виллу и ее хозяина!
