Oban Bay Views 3BR Apt - near Ferry and Train

Really good location. A short walk into town and a cracking view of the bay with all the boats and ferries coming in and out. Lovely view over to Lismore and beyond. It is a very roomy and spacious apartment and there are great views from two of the bedrooms and the living room.

You do have to haul your stuff up a couple of floors. Parking is a bit of an issue. Street parking is all metered and local car parks come with all the issues of whether you can leave and return etc. We opted to book a parking space online through JustPark in a private house less than 300 yards away on Dunuaran Road . Cost an extra £90 for the week which was a bit more than a public car park but the car was secure and we could come and go as we wanted for the week.

Beautiful flat with the best views out over the sea and Oban town. I stayed with my parents and kids and there was plenty of space for everyone, which can be hard to accommodate in a multigenerational group. The flat was clean and well looked after with all amenities we could wish for. It’s an easy, flat walk into the town centre meaning we didn’t need the car to go exploring. I’ll happily stay here again next time I’m in Oban.

Instructions to find the key could’ve been clearer - I hadn’t realised I was looking for a keybox location rather than an address so it took me quite a bit of time to figure this out.

Exceptional view across Oban Bay harbour and town, loved watching the beautiful sunsets from the lounge bay windows. Quiet and safe neighborhood, easy walking distance to town centre and all the main attractions. Tastefully decorated interior design with all the homely comforts and a well-equipped kitchen. Our host was fabulous, excellent communicator, we appreciated the great apartment information manual as well as a local area guide. Perfect apartment to relax and explore the Oban area and islands for a few days. Will definitely stay again when we next visit Oban.
