Sunset Breeze

Great location! Loved the private beach access. Much less crowded than the public beach. Easy walk across the street to get to the beach. Walkable to shops, restaurants and activities.

The home was spacious and had plenty of room for our group. The location was convenient and close to restaurants, attractions, and the beach. The neighborhood felt nice, and we enjoyed being within walking distance of the beach. Overall, the property has a lot of potential and could be a great place to stay with a few maintenance improvements. One thing to keep in mind is that Front Beach Road is very busy, especially during peak season, so crossing to the beach can be challenging. If possible, I’d recommend visiting during a less crowded time of year when traffic is lighter.

The biggest disappointment was the beach access. The gate code we were given never worked, and despite calling multiple times, we were never provided with a working code. Another beach gate was broken when we arrived and wasn’t repaired until later that day, after we had already missed out on going to the beach. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since beach access was one of the main reasons we booked this property. The two non-master bathroom showers drained very slowly, causing water to pool while showering, and both shower curtains had visible mold. We also found several items that appeared to have been damaged before our arrival, including a broken sink drawer in the back-left bedroom, a broken rolling chair, a balcony door that was very difficult to open and close, and a back door light that did not work. The driveway is also a very tight fit, especially if you have multiple vehicles. We wished there had been a pedestrian gate leading out to the street or beach access because when the driveway was full of cars, it was difficult to pull our beach cart out without moving vehicles. Additionally, the lawn was overgrown and could have used mowing before our arrival. Overall, these maintenance and accessibility issues took away from what could have been a much better stay.
