On a small budget, tastefully furnished. Bed and sofa comfortable, with good bedding and fluffy blankets. Loved the hardwood floors! Cozy feel, nice lighting. Very clean. Fridge, toilet, sink, shower new. Daylight bath! Heating perfectly programmed remotely. Plenty of electric plugs. All windows with electric blinds for safety. Hedged-in terrace perfect for dog. Neighbor’s black cat visits twice/day. End cleaning affordably included in price. Concierge helpful. Free parking just across. Adjacent to 2 historic sites. Shops nearby.

Not to criticize, just for minor facts: If you’re not French, not obvious to find the find tiny white key box by the balustrade. From the outside, the small row house of 4 flats looks not so nice. Main door is industrial without door handle. Hallway lighting did not work. Strong smell of cleaning detergents upon entering the flat. No coat rack anywhere. Fridge wobbly (with fat layer on top). Only 2 forks!! Oven works, but stove elements can’t be regulated - only full-on heat. You hear people above walking, talking and vacuuming, watching TV until 3 am and going to bed. You also hear the front door if people come home late. Terrace adjacent to school yard, so could be loud on school days. Some garbage (from neighbor upstairs?) in hedge around terrace. In hot summer difficult to air secluded bedroom - with ground floor hallway French window onto street with noise from passing trucks. Exposed cable near bathroom lamp above mirror. Copious spider web around lamp above dining table. Half a dozen dirty, greasy dishes amongst clean ones in cupboard - had to clean ourselves.
