Cute and thoughtfully set up house in a very tranquil and scenic location. Very quiet and relaxing. The house was comfy and cosy. The facilities in the house were very good and useful. The hosts were so lovely and attentive, they made us feel so welcome! On a sunny evening the mountains surrounding the area are very beautiful. Make sure you order dinner from them at least once, as it was delicious. We have been road tripping around Hokkaido and this has been one of our favourite accommodations 😊
Nothing, it was so good. I wish we spoke better Japanese so that we could converse with the owners more at their cafe. They were so friendly and funny even with the language barrier, which they did so well to help us overcome.

I liked how big it was, and also that it’s clean. I enjoyed the facilities, like having a bath tub and a washing machine plus a stove. The breakfast was great! We had hot sandwiches and hamburgers that the owner makes for her cafe as well. We decided to add on dinner because there are no eateries nearby. She made us shabu shabu with Hamburg for the first night and ginger pork with grilled fish for the second night. Overall no complains, would totally stay here again!
When the heater is turned on, a gas smell is present in the house. It’s not unbearable but it’s just something to take note of. Thankfully in the room there isn’t any smell and the tatami mat smell overwhelms the rooms (which I like).
