La Bergerie 10-12 personnes au pied des pistes à Montalbert

Locatie en nabij skilift etc

Erg kleine slaapkamers en geen volwaardige bedden voor iedereen

The best view from the dining room I’ve ever seen

Stairs are quite steep

We loved the position of the apartment, so central for everything and we liked the modern feel of the property and good quality fittings in the bathrooms and kitchen.

Sadly the property hasn't been well maintained. The patio was full of pigeon guano, the door handle was broken on one of the bedrooms, a light was hanging out of the ceiling exposing the wires in one room. The smoke alarms were simply resting on units, not mounted on the ceiling(we didn't test to see they were working). The Mezzanine had a 3rd bed in, which we hadn't requested and it made the room incredibly cramped up there. The curtain pole in the mezzanine had come off, leaving just screws in the wall, consequently the only way of closing the curtain was to shut it in the window. The curtain was also shabby and frayed. In addition to this the Agency system wasn't good. We queued for 30 mins at 15:30 to be told to return at 17:00. When we did come back at 17:00 we had to queue again. The agency did provide a new light bulb after asking 3 times. After paying £4,000 for the week we were disappointed that there was no washing up liquid, just one dishwasher tablet, no dishclothb or tea towel and a limited supply of wine glasses for the number of people in the apartment. There were no clear instructions for the Wifi, eventually the agency helped up, but a written sheet would have helped. It's such a shame because the quality of the fittings are good.
