Saltmarsh Rooms at Armeria in Wells next the Sea

Breakfast was excellent; we had stayed here before so knew what a good deal it was. Kelly is very attentive and in decorating and furnishing the rooms with extras, she has thought of everything one might need.

We were entirely satisfied.

Clean comfortable, well-appointed rooms, everything had been thought of. Modern design interiors with communal areas to relax in. Kelly and Teri were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was lovely and comfortable. There is an allocated space for each room on the large driveway. The Bowling Green Inn is just 5-10 minute walk to get something to eat and the food is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like really. The Saltmarsh Rooms are on the outskirts of Wells, so about a 15 minute walk into the centre which may be too far for some people but for us it was perfect as it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle and we like a walk.

Good location, near shops and the quay which we enjoyed visiting most days. Our room was really lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable, there was a fan and the windows opened which helped as it was rather a hot week. Our room had a really good shower, which didn't leak or run cold and there was shampoo, conditioner and soap all provided. The towels were luxurious and all sizes. We were asked each day if we needed anything and this was much appreciated. My husband and I valued the added extras like bottled water, great variety of tea and coffee, little packets of delicious biscuits and plenty of fresh milk. The fridge was just outside all the rooms on the landing and it was no problem sharing to put wine etc in there. There was a freezer downstairs in the kitchen area where we kept our iceblock to take with us to the beach to keep our picnic cool,. this was so handy. After a busy day we often enjoyed having a drink in the garden which was peaceful and nicely done. We would definitely recommend staying at Saltmarsh rooms, it exceeded our expectations.
