It was better that we expected. The host was very kind and helped us with informations about the island. Villa was very clean and for sure we will come back there.

Had a wonderful two week stay at Villa Vatia 3 in Tragaki. The villa is very clean and modern. Comfortable and well equipped. Vaso, the villa manager, and her son were great hosts and always on hand for any issues or queries. The villa is ideal for families up to 6 with the possibility of fitting 8. The pool area and view are fabulous and the outdoor kitchen/barbecue was great! The location is good for getting away from the noise and chaos of Laganas but still within walking distance (10-15mins) of a nice bay, some shops and cafes. Planos is 6 minutes drive away with lots of shops and restaurants. The best local supermarket is either Spar in Planos (7 minutes drive) or Piperis / My Supermarket, which is only 10-12 minutes drive and has a great deli and meat counter. Also highly recommend Sueno cafe in Planos for great brunch/coffee. They also deliver. Laganas is a 25-30 minute drive if you want to visit the clubs on the strip, take a boat to the caves or visit some more atmospheric restaurants like Isabel’s or Hamsa. Well worth a visit and it’s easy enough to find parking or it’s a Euro 45 trip by taxi if you want to drink. Villa felt safe and secure and was very relaxing. Only drawbacks are: you can’t drink the tap water, so be prepared to purchase bottled water for your stay, including for cooking with. You can’t flush loo roll, it has to be put in the bins, but the cleaner will come and replace the bins most days. Otherwise, a fantastic stay!
