Though it is a bit far from town, the stay was quite and peaceful. Birla sir and his family really made our stay wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. Would recommend for parents with toddlers as they provide whatever is required at anytime.

I have had one of the most comfortable stay at Magnolia B&B in Ooty during my trip to The Nilgiris, I stayed here for 3 Nights …. Here’s how I felt !!
Location : Splendid if one wish to stay close to Ooty town. It’s 10mins car ride and 20mins walk..
Comfort : Top notch.. I mean it. The bed has orthopaedic mattress, firm and comfortable. Cushions are perfect for neck and shoulders!! Fresh bedding, double duvet and clean bed sheets.. Couldn’t have asked for any better bed after a day long off roading in my 4x4 around Nilgiri valleys.
Room furniture: Nice varnished to a high colonial standard! Including a nice working desk and 2 chairs.
Bathroom / Shower: Spacious, high power hot water geyser, fresh handwashing liquid and towels
Breakfast: Simple, Tasty, Healthy home made South India delicacies. Less is more how I see, few dishes but to a great quality and hygiene.
Cleanliness is maintained at all areas to a great standard. No signs of dust, dirt, garbage, insects or odour!
Ample Parking available at the back of the property! Not to forget they have enough helpful staff, always available for any assistance.
Last but not least, a very warm and welcoming host Mr. BKM, I would fondly call Birla Krishna Murthy, without which my experience wouldn’t have been as memorable as this. BKM truly looks after his guests like his very own family. I could speak to BKM for all day if I was staying longer. You would receive history on tea plantations, good places to go, the short cuts if you are driving, including some useful tips and recommendations on good places and types of tea, coffee and chocolates if you wish to purchase on your way home!
