Poor maintenance of the showers (also cleanliness might be improved) and old and not fully functional room furniture. No sound proofing of the rooms.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Red flag!

Nothing!

Low-quality place with rude staff, having no respect to its customers. Disgusting smell of cigarettes in the reception/dining area which also serves as the personal space of the owner. No contactless payment pos-terminal (so be careful those having no physical card and no cash), no elevators and stairs are tiny.

Awful property

Bedsheet with holes, loudest doors with keys possible, bathrooms were not clean. Staff was not friendly and breakfast looked awful. All in all don’t recommend, way overpriced for something so awful.

Disappointment , awful!

The location was close the city center

Once I entered the room, I wanted cancel my stay sooo badly The room was extremely dirty and cold. You could see hair in the shower. The empty candy bags from previous guests… There was a weird smell. Probably the cause was the shower. Bedsheets were of bad quality, it felt like sleeping on a towel. Duvets were in the cupboard, and dirty. We believe the expectation were guests to do their own bed which were sinking in, and because they were broken. You could hear each room on your floor like they are talking next to you. I felt super unsafe while we were staying. The doors weren’t closing properly. We didn’t fill out any type of check-in papers. If you would like to stay secretly in one place or if you are in a run of something, it is the perfect place. There were no fire alarm inside our room which surprised me that they could use this facility as a hotel. When you are in the shared toilet and shower, you could easily smell dampness and mold.

No WiFi from the third floor onwards

The location was in a good spot above a very friendly pub. The receptionist (blonde) was also very friendly and polite when we checked in.

WiFi doesn't work from the third floor onwards One of the bedframes was broken. The window above the toilet and the shower on the fourth floor enabled the person in the toilet to be able to easily spy on the person in the shower without the other person knowing (at night from window reflection). Mainly reporting this as safety concern. TV didnt work Whilst many of these incidents were minor, my partner and I tried to report the more major incidents the following morning. We were disturbed at 10 minutes before checkout by a member of staff who simply wanted our key and for us to go. He did not seem interested in anything further we had to say.

Disappointed

Location is splendid. Towels were clean. The staff were nice since they rescheduled my booking and I got a day back as in refund.

It was a very old hotel. There was a terrible smell in my room, coming from the shower drain. It was so bad that I put a towel over the drain to get rid of the smell, and somehow that worked. Otherwise, I would have wanted to leave the hotel because of the smell. As I said, it was very old and the view from my room was also very poor. I also think the prices are ridiculously expensive for what you get.

Location was good, close to centre

although it says that there is parking, it was actually public parking on the street. However that day it was national holiday and save me few euros.

Price of 153 per night is very expensive for what the "hotel" offers.

Location was fine. Breakfast was cash only basis, so did not do it. No coffee in room, so had to walk down 5 flights of stairs to get from cafe.

No lift, and put on top floor for no real reason. No coffee in room. Shower was not clean, shower head did not stay in place. Reception staff not very helpful at all.

Needed affordable longer stay but unless we can find nothing else- will look somewhere else!

Didnt have breakfast as many bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby with great options so location is GREAT!

No internet. Front desk person said it wasn’t their fault as it was their internet service… then deal with them or get another one! TV didn’t have power cord so what do without anyway to email, or connect with anyone or anything?

Good for an adventure

Price was cheaper than the other hotels/hostels

No lift, no wifi at least in the rooms on the top, barely toilet paper, in the showers (the lock couldn't close so anyone could have opened the door and also there was no curtain -so water goes everywhere and if someone had entered would have seen me naked), they give towels (but all 3 were for hands, so for the shower that was a bit difficult), window in my room could not open due to the curtain trail blocking. Maybe other rooms or floors are different. Mine was on the 4th floor (the upper floor). Also i didn't want to have breakfast, but it wouldn't have been possible, it looked like it was being reformed. So for the basics, basics, it is ok. I hope this helps 😅

Worth it for the price.

Visited Cologne with a friend to sight see and take part in Hyrox. Didn’t mind where it was but mostly for a cheap price and somewhere to sleep. Navigation from the airport was by a train then bus or a tram. Check in at 1400 and was given a room on the top floor, the was a few stairs without a lift. Room was clean, toilet and shower separate but clean. Towels provided for just no shampoo or body wash. Bed was soft. To navigate into the city center use Google maps, download ‘KVB’ app for tickets and select Koln travel card for travel on all train/ tram/ bus between 24-48 hrs. Register address details to the hotel address as UK doesn’t work.

- Большая и удобная кровать - Чистый коридор, туалет, душевые комнаты - Выезд в любое время - На просьбу отремонтировать кровать (сломалась стенка) отреагировали очень быстро. - Уборка в номерах - Быстрый Wi-Fi

- Дорогие завтраки, как нам показалось. Возможно это было связано с количеством туристов из-за фестиваля. - В шкафу дверки не закрывались

Die Lage in Köln war gut. Die Verkehrsanbindung auch.

Eine Freundin hatte Probleme mit der Barriere. Das dieses keinesfalls Barrierefrei ist, wurde nirgends erwähnt. Auch die Frühstückszeiten am Wochenende erst ab 9:00 Uhr wurde nirgends erwähnt. Das Frühstück war überteuert. Eine kurzfristige Stornierung des Frühstücks war nicht möglich. Die Zimmer waren sehr Renovierungsbedüftig. Auch war es sehr hellhörig. Man hörte in der Nacht genau wer kommt und geht.

Tolles Hotel in zentraler Lage, auch die angeschlossene Gaststätte besuchen.

Das Wasser in der Toilette im 2. Stock lief die ganze Zeit und ließ sich nicht abstellen. Das war sehr laut. Mal ganz abgesehen von der Wasserverschwendung.

El codigo de lq puerta no funcionaba y tuvimos que intentarlo mucho tiempo. La habitacion tenia la ducha en medio completamente visible y sin vater. No apto para personas que no deseen verse desnudas. Tuvimos que irnos al descansillo a esperar que nos ducharamos por turnos. Fue muy incomodo esperar e ir al vater con los de la limpieza a menos de un metro escuchando mis pedos

No me ha gustado nada.

Nada. Las instalaciones olían mal (a tabaco), el WIFI no funcionaba, no funcionaba la calefacción, los cojines eran inexistentes, como si no hubiese, las camas estaban en mal estado (había una rota), no había agua caliente, etc. Considero que fue caro para lo que fue.

Die Zimmer Waren in einem schlechten Zustand. In einem Zimmer war kein Warmwasser in dem anderen Zimmer war Morgens kein Strom. Als wir das Personal darauf ansprachen meinten die nur man solle doch auschecken, wenn es einem nicht passt.

Eine Dusche für 6 Zimmer mit der Toilette zusammen. Nicht getrennt für Damen und Herren und die Ausstattung war von vor 50 Jahren und defekt. Zudem waren in meinem Zimmer gerade Ausbesserubgsarbeiten mit Lack gemacht worden und es stank die ganze Zeit nach Farbe.

En tant endroit et bien

Ce que je n’ai pas aimé dans cette hôtel, c’est que la salle de bain et la toilette était à part et ça je savais pas ça me dérangé à chaque fois de sortir ou utiliser une salle de bain avec des autres personnes et puis l’établissement est très vieux, et il y a beaucoup d’humidité. Le lit il est pas confortable. On entend beaucoup de bruit de l’extérieur.

Das Hotel war für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück passabel. Zum Frühstück waren wir aüßerhalb verabredet, deswegen nicht beurteilbar. Lage ist schön, nah am See, Einkaufsmeile vor der Türe.

Das Hotel ist wie aus der Zeit gefallen, eine Reise in die 80 er Jahre... sanierungsbedürftig! Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit Bad, mit Falttüre getrennt! Außerdem kleines Bett mit weicher Matratze!
