The Old Rose Farm House

Spacious, clean & modern. Excellent communication with Bronwyn our host. Beautiful gardens at front and comfy sitting area out front. Ample parking and only 10 minutes to Bright & shops.

I thought we had entire house to ourselves but there is another adjoining accommodation and could hear occasional noises through the wall. Also there was a terrible cooking smell from next door somehow coming into the second bedroom. Bronwyn wasn't aware of the problem and says she will investigate and remedy the issue.

Very comfortable, beautiful decor, high class amenities, wonderful rural setting. Loved our stay there. ❤️

Maybe could have sensor light at front door and a sign on the road stating the name of the accommodation as driveway entrance quite hard to find, especially when dark

Modern renovations, comfortable and lovely garden setting.

The beds are great, the big bath and the place is very clean.

The advert is a little misleading as you do not have the whole house to yourself - the house is shared with two other residences either side and have paper thin walls. There are no laundry facilities so you can't wash or dry clothes if you are there for an extended period. Can't go out the back of the house, only out the front and there is a lot of traffic noise from the main road 50m away. Only a small aircon in the lounge room that doesn't filter through to rooms etc., and the indoor unit is sized incorrectly to the outdoor unit, so it doesn't function well. Missing simple things like soap etc provided in the bathrooms.
