the washing machine was very hard to use

When we arrived, we had not yet received the information to open the lockbox. I texted the property, and they sent me the information I needed immediately. One of the bathroom doors was locked, and they sent someone within 30 minutes to fix it. There are beds and toilets on each floor, which was great. The showers were excellent, and I wished I had them at home.

The property is at least 10 minutes from a train station, so be prepared to walk. It is a quiet neighborhood, and you need to walk 10 minutes to reach a convenience store or restaurant. The washer/dryer is a combination machine, which is uncommon in the US. You will need to Google (and Google Translate) to learn how to use it. Once you do, there is no issue, and they even provided the type of washing liquid needed. The same goes for the stove. There is no microwave/toaster/toaster oven, but there is something similar under the stove. I also had to Google (and Google Translate) to learn how to use it. It would be helpful if there were basic instructions for using them.

The location was good once we found it. Hard to find at night even with a local driver. The split of the shower rooms and the toilets was very accommodating. It was convenient to have a washer/dryer. The lounge area was adequate. The dining/kitchen was good. There were sufficient dishes and utensils for the 10 of us. The towels and other bath amenities were good. The AC worked well. Good value for money.

The bedrooms. Very small for the furniture in the rooms. We had to walk on the beds to use the closet and only then to put the suitcases as there were no clothes rods or clothes hangers. The hooks on the wall were sufficient only to hang damp towels. I am aware we were in Japan but sleeping almost on the floor is not very convenient. A 10am check out is a little early and the cleaners arrived before 10. The closet area that appeared to be the most convenient in each room was locked for storage or other personal reasons.
