has an elevator to the 4th floor that we were on, generally safe area. location fairly good, walking distance to Frankenthal Haupthbahnhof. Apartment was spacious for 2 people. Good sized toilet/bathroom which worked well (not always the case in other places we have travelled to)

Bed was too soft and springy and uncomfortable - my husband had backaches from sleeping on it. The kitchen facilities were not very clean (oil stains between the stacked pans/pots, thick layer of chalk in the kettle), no cleaning sponge was provided (although dishwashing liquid was provided), expired creamer for coffee, tea and sugar were exposed to the air, coffee machine had an old capsule drop down into the bin when i opened it. Washing machine had small white pieces of paper in it, probably as someone had last washed with tissue paper in their clothing. It felt like the cleaning / checking of apartment before handover was not done very thoroughly. Loud noises every night from people on the streets which were clearly audible in the apartment, though perhaps not entirely within the host's control.
