Smelly room, rubbish scattered in the room, used bottles of coke, cigarette butt's. Bed not made up and very dirty bedding. Doesn't meet the standards to be a guest room on booking.com

Couldn't contact host and dirty room
Poor experience to be honest. First I arrived and was struggling to get through the front door for 30 minutes, I tried calling the contact number they provided if we have 'any questions' perhaps 5 times and nobody ever picked up. 1 guy was coming into the property so I asked him and he just completely blanked me and walked in the house. As he came out again I repeatedly asked him for help, he had no response whatsoever and didn't even look at me. I grabbed his arm to get his attention and he just shrugged it off and walked away. Utterly bizarre experience. Genuinely thought I'd turned invisible. 20mins later thankfully another person was staying there and helped me out. In the room there was some chocolate left on the carpet and a stain on the bedsheets. The towel provided was dirty. My bedroom door seems it had been broken off the frame and then reattached poorly. Cheap room but the room wasn't clean or pleasant, the other person living there was beyond bizarre, and there was no way to contact the property. Felt slightly unsafe there, not a pleasant experience at all. Clean bedding at a minimum

The main issue was the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom, but there was also a kettle in the room even though there were no coffee/tea or cups provided
