I ended up at Stone House because my hostel in Tirana cancelled as I was travelling. By the time I got there I was very stressed. I knew nothing about Elbasan and just wanted to relax. Stone House was perfect for this. Koli, the host is a great guy. I was made to feel very welcome and his family are very nice people. All in all my stay was just what I needed. Relaxed, informal and welcoming. If you need a base in the stunning countryside where you get to meet freindly travellers and hosts then Stone House is perfect.

I made a spontaneous reservation because I missed the bus, but I was able to check in.

It was like a coal shed inside the house; the toilet and bathroom were outside the room, which is normal for this price, of course. Also, breakfast is not included in the initial price and is subject to an extra charge.
