Tirana Lemon Breeze Hostel

Locaton was fantastic, staff was great. Courtyard was a pleasant place to unwind. Cleanliness was a priority with the staff, very enjoyable people. Good store nearby, lots of places to see, could walk a very long ways and explore. Excellent transport connectivity

No power outlets in the courtyard. Would have been nice to have. No real complaints, I quite enjoyed my time there and always felt comfortable and at ease. The taxi driver had a bit of trouble finding the place, but that's an issue with the driver

Great location, just a 10 min walk from city centre. Kind and friendly staff. The common area is particularly pleasant, being outside with trees, nicely set up in a way that allows to easily meet other guests. Women shared bedroom equipped with AC. You can do your laundry for 3 euros. Everything was very clean, you can use the kitchen to make your own meals, and store your food in the fridges either in the common area, or in the bedroom's fridge for the women only bedroom.

Some very minor issues with the electrical wiring in the bedroom and the women's shower, nothing that could lower the comfort and quality of the stay. I was told (very understandably so) that it would be fixed during the next slow season, as such repairs can't be made with the hostel being full.

This is the 2nd time i have stayed ( last time October 2024 ) . Chap on the front desk , was very friendly and helpfull . Hostel has a nice feel to it , comfy bed , secure lock up for your belongings . Lounge , kitchen facilites and roof top area . The location is not dead central to all bars , nightlife etc but not that far, and i quite like the way it is tucked away , and their are shops cafes etc close by for convenience . I would recomend this as a good value hostel to stay at if you are visiting Tirana .

Shower was not that powerfull , but served its purpose and no complaints really .

We were not able to lock the bedroom door for the night. The kitchen door is open to the outdoor space, and we saw a mouse/rat inside while cooking. We paid in cash and at the moment they didn’t have change to give back to us, and when we checked out no one from the staff was there so we never got our change back :(
