Enchanting stay

Rosy is an incredible host. She truly went the extra mile to accommodate us, making sure the cottage was warm and comfortable. She even installed curtains in the loft bedroom so daylight would not disturb us and so both couples had privacy. She met us at the property on arrival to walk us through everything, which made us feel very welcome. The cottage is well insulated and the heating kept us perfectly warm. It is cosy, charming, and even nicer in person than in the photos. There is a TV in the living room, which was perfect for movie nights. The location is ideal for disconnecting and relaxing, yet also very convenient for exploring nearby cities such as Bruges, Ghent, and even Brussels. We had an amazing two-night stay and highly recommend this place!

The only thing I would mention, is that when we visited the lake in the picture was dry, but it appears that this is because during the summer it didn’t rain that much and they started to re-fill it. Also, a few more forks would have been helpful, there weren’t enough for 4 people.

Beautiful scenery, fun living experience

The environment is very nice, with a small lake at the entrance and a small mini courtyard on the side, where you can comfortably lie on the outdoor sofa in the courtyard to enjoy the daylight and admire the sunset, or in the living room to enjoy the lake and the trees. The landlord also provided a campfire site and boat, but we didn't get to use it.

The only problem is that the second bedroom is an attic, and the stairs up and down are too steep and narrow to be dangerous, even for young people. We have to be very careful going up and down the stairs.

Erholung pur

Wenn man Natur und Ruhe möchte, ist man hier genau richtig! Es ist alles da, was man benötigt, eine kleine Küche mit entsprechender Einrichtung, Handtücher, Föhn etc. Die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich, die Kommunikation auf Englisch funktioniert super. Der abends und nachts beleuchtete Teich ist das absolute Highlight. Schwimmen kann man darin nicht, es gibt aber kleine Boote zum ausleihen. Man hat die Möglichkeit dort zu grillen, Fahrräder auszuleihen und diverse outdoor Spiele zu nutzen. Toller Urlaub!

Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: ein kleiner Kleiderschrank oder Regal wäre noch gut.

Superbe emplacement au bord de l'eau, une parenthèse de calme et de paix dans le tourbillon de la vie quotidienne. Un très bon moment passé dans votre paradis de la nature. Merci à vous ... Se réveiller au son des oiseaux et de la nature nous a vraiment plu.

Petit bémol sur les quelques finitions, mais sans conséquences sur le confort. Des tables de nuits seraient appréciables.
