Definitely book again, plenty to do weather permitting.

Easy to find, equipped for grandchildren. Only a five minute walk to “the Spire”. Out the way of the main drag, a well placed van.

Unfortunately ants were a little overruling but measures were taken before we arrived. Not the fault of the owners. Apart from that all was good.

Clean caravan however could do with improvements

The caravan was well furnished and clearly looked after. The cupboards were all stocked and it was simple to check in. It was simple to get to and in a daily desirable area of the campsite as it is not far from the entrance. The owner provided a video of how to get to the caravan, and plenty of pictures of the caravan

The check in was far too late, with the earliest check in option being 5pm, meaning all of the facilities are basically shut by the time you are there, especially if you are just staying for a night like I did. The all of facilities on the Billing Aquadrome site require booking before you show up, which needed mentioning before my trip as this caused me to loose out on available spots, such as for the swimming. There was also an ant nest somewhere in the toilet in the caravan making going in there very unpleasant and I have been left with a few spots due to this. Just for a night the caravan was far too overpriced for the amount of facilties available due to the late check in

Wonderful. Not worth it for one night, stay longer.

Plenty of facilities and it was child friendly. Host provided lots of toys for the kids. The kitchen had all the appliances one could need and the utensils.

The single bed mattress kept moving all night and wasn’t very comfortable. I didn’t like that the check on was from 5pm. You essentially lose a day of stay and we only stayed for one night. I wanted to settle in and check out the facilities on site at the location before it got dark but I didn’t get to do that.

We were not impressed with the stay or the communication with the owners

The site facilitates looked good but weren’t open due to the time we went

The oven could have had a door, we could have been warned beforehand we took food etc and when we arrived there was no oven door! Not ideal with an 18 month child. The sofas and carpets were grubby and a board from the pull out sofa was loose and exposed nails. The front was falling off the boiler and a cupboard door. When we arrived it was dark and we had to go out and turn the electric and gas on a window had been left open and it was freezing, the heating wouldn’t work luckily my partner was there and went out and changed the gas bottle, if he wasn’t there, there would be no chance of me being able to do that.
