I stayed at Villa Borna for a week and found it very comfortable. The bed was cozy enough after long days exploring Dubrovnik’s sites, having a private bathroom made things more convenient too while grocery stores nearby were handy.

We loved lounging by the pool during our stay at Villa Borna. After enjoying local restaurants for dinner, we spent evenings on our terrace sipping wine under the stars. It felt like a little slice of paradise away from all the tourists.

We stayed for a week, if you’re looking for a relaxed peaceful time this is the place to come. Martin was just the most genuine and nicest host you could ever wish to meet. I had an issue with my hire car, not only did he speak to the hire car company, he took us to get oil and the next morning came to put the oil in for me, I had done it already. He also saw us going into town on a couple of occasions and gave us a lift. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Everything was close by from the local store, to the coffee shop at the bottom of the steps, I would recommend as has great music and good coctails. There are lots of beaches and little coves to explore so we had a wonderful time. The only picky thing I would say is would have been nice to had a full stand up ironing board as was hard to iron on a table and a toaster would have been great. I’m sure if I had asked Martin would have arranged this for us. The bed was really comfy and air con great. The pool was basically like having it to yourself which we loved. If you want peace and quiet but is close to everything this is the place for you
