I think overall this is a great house in a beautiful location. The furnishings are all high end, and it is decorated beautifully. However, there are a few things about this house you need to know before renting. The pictures need to be updated. There is a giant wooden fence around the pool deck now. I'm sure it is for safety, but they should have made it a larger area. The chairs are separated by the fence, and you get to stare at a fence instead of the pool while sitting in them. I would say the fence blocks the view from pool too, but the trees have grown up blocking the long range mountain views anywhere on the ground level. You still get nice views from the upper levels of the house which is nice. You don't get a great view from the master bedroom because the double paned window has moisture inside of it. Another important thing you need to know is the fifth bedroom is in a separate guest house about 50 yards away. I'm not sure that was made entirely clear in the description. You also probably won't be able to get in the front door using the code. Someone else mentioned it in a review, and the same thing happened to us. We called, and they directed us to a lock box. They told us someone would call us to come fix the front door code, but no one ever called. While the inside is beautiful, the outside needs to be cleaned up a bit. There are a million cobwebs all over the outside of the house, and the landscaping needs a little attention.

My family had a wonderful time. The house and pool were perfect for our needs. We didn't want for anything. Lots of bugs outside, but it is July in Georgia and that's to be expected. Will probably book again for next summer.

Our family of 12 really enjoyed our stay. The home and views were beautiful. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone in the home. The guest house was very convenient and quiet for a couple with a toddler. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill in the outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling steaks. The large pool was appreciated during the July heat wave. We did have to bring our own pool noodles, rafts, toys, etc. Our only issues were: 1. The front door lock didn't work when we arrived. Vacasa personnel let us know alternate ways to enter the home. 2. One left runner on the bottom rack of the dishwasher was missing and the other was damaged. 3. Poor water pressure in showers on the main and upper floors. This is the only reason we would not stay again. 4. The water in the upper floor shower was lukewarm, never hot. Helen was a convenient 20 min. drive. But overall, the home is lovely and worked very well for our annual family vacation!

This is a wonderful property, high-end furnishings decor. The layout is great, and the pool is wonderful. The property is very quiet with no sounds of the outside c world. We all enjoyed the many deer.
