Casa Rosa Leuven

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und dennoch günstig zwischen Lueven und Brüssel. Direkt um die Ecke verläuft der sehr gut ausgebaute Radweg zwischen den beiden Städten und man ist mit dem Rad in 20 min im Zentrum von Leuven. Fahrräder können in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden. Das Auto muss allerdings im Wohngebiet geparkt werden. Es gibt 2 größere kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe (ca. 5 min zu Fuß). Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht inkl. Waschmaschine und Trockner. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin, welche uns mit einem Video alles wichtige gezeigt hat und uns wegen der Hitze vorsorglich mit Ventilatoren ausgestattet hat.

Wenn wir uns noch etwas gewünscht hätten, dann Fliegengitter in den Schlafzimmern. Beachten sollte man auch, dass das obere Schlafzimmer über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen ist.

Het is een complete appartement!

The host was simply wonderful: very detailed in providing all the instructions, very helpful, accomodating, and kind as she welcomed us with a small bottle of Prosecco, some beers, and peanuts. The unit is very comfortable: it is a duplex composed by a large living/dining room, a small terrace, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a very large dressing room, and a bathroom. The quality of sleep was excellent since the beds are comfortable and there is absolutely no noise coming from outside. The unit is also fully equipped with everything you may need (dishwasher, washing machine, drier, Nespresso coffee machine, smart TV with Prime/HBO, iron, plates, pans, towels, detergents, shampoo, etc.) Casa Rosa is located in Herent, approximately 5km from Leuven which can be reached by public tranportation or by taxi (we used Uber and each transfer to/from Leuven costed 10-15 euros)

Nothing to improve. Just a minor note: the stairs leading to the second floor of the duplex are slightly steep and the steps are not very deep: it may not be very comfortable for elder people
