What a fantastic place to stay! So much space for 12 of us, including 3 children. We loved the huge dining table and large kitchen with 2 fridge/freezers, 2 dishwashers and washing machine. Loads of sofas and a strong favourite, the cinema room. The bedrooms are a great size, most with en-suite. We never queued for the loo as there were 7 of them!! Fishguard is charming with some beautiful shops and a strol away from the stuning harbour. Although there is no parking with the accomodation, there is a bay outside for unloading and a carpark round the corner that is only £15 for the week (We actually managed to park opposite the co-op in a free carpark all week) We went on lots of excursions during the week, Whitesands beach was one of our favourites, Parrog and Newton had gorgeous walks along the coast and shopping at St Davids and Cardigan. A great family, fun day was also spent at Feud Hall in Newton playing skittles, shuffle board, corn hole and crazy golf. Altogether, a fantastic family holiday, in a great location, staying in top class accomodation...one to remember!

Great property owner, he sent us details the day before of how to get into the property. Property itself is huge, beautifully decorated and very clean. Many bedrooms all with a lovely local beach name. I stayed in Newgale which was one of the smaller rooms but it had it's own bathroom which was great. There was a beautiful long table to dine at with a stunning light feature above made out of old oars- and a picture of a rowing boat perhaps with those very same oars on the wall nearby!- a lovely personal touch! It was clear that lots of thought had gone into the decoration of the property. There was a lovely sitting room with 4 settees so ample comfy seating for a large group. We used the large tv in the evenings and netflix. There was even a cinema room which unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use! Loved Henry the Hoover had his own cute house under the stairs. Loads of cupboards in the massive kitchen, 2 fridges as well so plenty of room for groceries. There were loads of places in the town nearby to eat though. And it was very close to the bus stop as well. We did use the cooker a few times. Kitchen well supplied with dishes, appliances etc. We used the washing machine to wash and dry our clothes and there's also drying racks in the boot-room downstairs. This room is also great for dogs as it was completely tiled. Some of our group used the little office desk area just off the main living room. Great having 2 staircases as well as it gave you a choice of how to enter and exit the bedrooms, great for not disturbing others early in morning or late at night. One of our group was visually impaired and he found the property very good accessibility-wise, there was good contrast with the walls white and doors grey, & ample lighting. There was an area upstairs for storage of towels etc. Literally everything had been thought of and prepared for.
Literally the one thing that would have made our stay perfect was if there was more than 1 key. For a large group of people it's not ideal to only have 1 key, we had to arrange our comings and goings carefully. There is a lock box but it would still be better to have additional keys, for example one time some people were sleeping when others were out late, we couldn't lock the door from the inside, or use the lock box with ourselves being inside, so had to go to sleep leaving the door unlocked so the others in our group could get in whenever they came back late. Not a massive issue as the entrance door was inside a locked alleyway, but there was shared access with the pub next door so people could theoretically have just walked in through the back areas of the pub. One other thing was the lamp in Newgale bedroom was missing the charger, I did try charging it with my own lead but either it was faulty or the wrong lead as it never charged enough to work. Not a big issue though as the lighting outside was enough to illuminate the room slightly at night. We left the main corridor lighting on at night which was great for various people coming and going. That's literally my only observations for improvement, everything else was fantastic.

The property was in a fantastic location, everything was cleaned to an incredibly high standard. It’s a beautiful home and it was a delight to stay here. The host Andrew was incredibly helpful and was lovely enough to send me a few recommendations of places to go out for food and day trips.
Although the property itself doesn’t have any parking, there are plenty of car parks nearby which charge only £3.50 for 24 hours which you can’t complain about.
