The room we were assigned is not good at all. Why would you put a bed that is next to the air conditioner? It was so hot that we have to leave the air conditioner on all night, but it is so noisy that I can't sleep well. The guy who served us was a nice person, but you can tell that he isn't so experienced in the hospitality industry nor Japanese Ryokan industry. The ryokan indicated it is smoking free, but it has an ashtray right next to the open air onsen..
A lot of stuff we didn't like. I am not even certain how it scored so high in Booking.com website.
