The location is good far from the busy Alona beach but you definitely need to rent a scooter to move around or take a tuk tuk. The room was clean. The AC works perfectly and there is hot water in the shower. There is a shared kitchen on the rooftop with beautiful view of the jungle.
The staff were not very friendly, welcoming and helpful at all. There was a kid crying every morning and I could hear as if I was right next to it. My room was right next to the reception where the owners or workers were staying and there was lots of noise especially in the morning. I felt like I was almost living with them. The roof top kitchen is beautiful but not functional. All the kitchen equipment is rusty especially the cutlery. They should definitely buy new equipment.

Es war sauber , es gab eine Küche. Wir konnten um Mitternacht einchecken , unser Flug war verspätet. Sonst hatten wir fast nur per WhatsApp Kontakt mit dem Besitzer, er hat uns am Ende geholfen die Fähre zu finden. Gut gelegen es gibt Restaurants ein 7eleven und ein Waschsalon in der Nähe.
Die Handtücher haben sehr stark nach gerochen… ein Detail! Um nach Bohol zu fahren ist es etwas weit, man fährt mehr als eine eine Stunde zu den Chocolates Hills.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, modern, sauber und neu.
Jeweils am Abend haben die Nachbarn ihren Abfall verbrannt. Der Rauch verursachte eine sehr stickige Umgebung, was ich sehr unangenehm fand. Gemein für die Unterkunft, denn sie legen viel Wert auf das Trennen des Abfalls und entsorgen es wahrscheinlich auch richtig. Abfall scheint leider ein grundlegendes Problem auf dieser wunderschönen Insel zu sein.

It’s affordable and fairly clean.
The window-type air conditioner works well and keeps the room cool, and there is plenty of hot water.
It’s located in front of The Bellview Resort, but you have to go a little way into a residential alley.
You have to walk all the way to the front of Modala Resort to catch a tuk-tuk.
Ants keep coming in through the gaps around the window air conditioner.
There is no refrigerator or hair dryer.
Only one blanket is provided.
The room is smaller than it looks in the photos.
