Grosses, schönes Zimmer an bester Lage nahe am Strand und diversen Restaurants. Federica ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Perfekt für einige Strandtage.

I fell in love with Scilla! ❤️ I was looking to stay in a more authentic Italian setting and both the town and apartment fulfilled the criteria. The small but charming apartment is located on the Marina Grande side of Scilla, just steps away from the pebble beach, a wide promenade, and a few minutes' walk from the train station. It’s reached by climbing the first flight of stairs that eventually lead to the top of the town, with its narrow winding streets and castle. I was there out of season so the lift, located next to the stairs, was closed but it’s worth the climb for the views. Chianalea, the fishing district, located just around the headland is also only minutes away and well worth seeing. The apartment couldn’t be better located, and it was magical to wake up to the sound of the sea and the bells from the church in front, then saunter down to the cafes located at the bottom of the stairs for croissants and coffee. Federica was an excellent host. Very proactive in making sure I had all the information I needed for my stay and kept in regular touch. I had slight teething issues with the hot water in the shower and a plumber was immediately sent to sort it out. I loved my time there and I was sad to leave.

This isn't a criticism but the bed is actually a sofa bed which I didn't realise when booking.

Prima volta a Scilla, ma non sarà l' ultima. Ottima comunicazione con l'host per tempistiche e reattività nei messaggi, consigli utili per servizi e cose da vedere. La struttura si trova praticamente a 50 metri dal mare nascosta dietro alla chiesa dello spirito santo. Di fianco appena scesi 30 scalini della scalinata si trova l'ascensore che ti fa salire al centro di scilla con altri servizi, bar e supermercati comodi. Sul lungomare ci sono tantissimi locali dove poter mangiare il loro piatto tipico (pesce spada). Ma torniamo alla struttura: Dimensioni stanza per 2 persone molto superiori alla media. Divano letto estremamente confortevole. Climatizzatore presente e vi garantisco che fa freddo. Cucina fornitissima ed anche molto pratica. Bagno adiacente alla camera pratico e soprattutto pulitissimo con finestra. La camera inoltre presenta un balcone con relativo stendino per asciugare eventuali panni. Zona veramente silenziosa praticamente non si sente una mosca. Stanza ben illuminata e presenta zanzariere porta d'entrata compresa. La signora è stata di una gentilezza e disponibilità unica anche prima di lasciare la stanza, ci siamo sentiti telefonicamente per sincerarsi che il nostro soggiorno fosse stato di nostro gradimento. Non sono uno che fa recensioni così dettagliate ma sarà stato il mare, il paese, la stanza o la signora che ci ha accolto. Ma questa in generale meriterebbe una menzione particolare sopra i classici numeri. Ultima cosa: ATTENZIONE perché Scilla scarseggia di posteggio auto ma la stazione dei treni alla stanza dista 250 metri pianeggianti. Passando per la galleria che costeggia il mare si passa sotto al castello di Ruffo e si arriva al borgo di Chianalea riconosciuto come uno dei borghi più bello d'Italia. Quindi che dire RITORNEREMO PERCHÉ CI SIAMO GIÀ INNAMORATI DI QUESTO PAESE CHE CI HA COCCOLATO
