Yefnabi Homestay

Eigentlich sollte ich diese Bewertung nicht schreiben, um nicht einen Run auf dieses verträumte Inselchen auszulösen. Lindert und seine Familie haben uns toll verköstigt und jede denkbare Schnorcheltour zu nahegelegenen Inseln ermöglicht.
Das Hausriff in Richtung Südosten ist gut und die großen Fischschwärme besonders zu erwähnen. Wir waren Anfang April 2026 für 5 Tage die einzigen Gäste (1 von 2 Hütten belegt). Haben uns wie Könige auf einer „Privatinsel“ gefühlt, natürlich ohne Bintang, Eiswürfel, Van oder sonstigen verzichtbaren Luxus. Yefnabi ist ein Sehnsuchtsort par excellence. 
Das Inselchen kann bei Ebbe in 3min auf weißem Sandstrand umrundet werden, d.h. Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang sind immer da.

This is a rare gem - I can't think of many places one would have to Robinson Crusoe on a picture perfect tropical 'desert' island. Bucket list location, great reef just off the island for snorkeling. We were taken such good care of as well by our host guide. Thanks Kostan - you made our trip!!! :) I have given this a 10* rating as, while the facilities were basic and a bit rough - this is exactly the kind of location and experience I have dreamed of my entire life. The location is superb, and actually - 'roughing it' added rather than detracted.

I believe we were the first guests to stay at this location / setup (it was hard to understand exactly with communications barriers). The family hosting were new to this and had still finding their feet. Fortunately the manager of this location sent with us an experienced guide who was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of us. The facilities were very basic, but safe and protected from the elements - this is what we were expecting so didn't bother us, but others who may want a little more comfort should be aware.
