The property was in a residential block which was well maintained and a cul de sac. Parking was on street and we didn’t encounter any issues. The property is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bedrooms were very large. The kitchen isn’t the biggest, but is adequate and reasonably equipped. The bathroom also included a washing machine and there is a large balcony. The location was okay, although we ended up not using the nearby buses, preferring instead to drive about 10-15 minutes and picking up the main tram route to Venice. We found this more convenient than having to change buses, etc. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was very secure. Our host gave us a bottle of pre-mixed Aperol Spritz, which was very welcome. Despite the stairs, we would stay again.
We had an issue with the shutter out to the balcony, however, this was quickly fixed by our host. There are quite a few stairs. There is no kettle to make tea, so I ended up boiling water on the stove in a saucepan. We put a sheet up to the bedroom window to block out the light to ensure we were not woken too early. The curtains are only thin nets and the shutters do not block out all the light.
