Beachfront Secret Tides Villa Sol

We loved everything ! Aum - our Villa host - she was very friendly, helpful and paid attention to every detail during our stay. She reacted instantly to our requests and was always available via WhatsApp :-) - Villa is beautiful, luxurious, spacious, huge swimming pool - everything looked new. Equipped kitchen and you can even make your own laundry :) - Delicious breakfast - Very calm atmosphere - When you open all the windows you get a huge living room connected with swimming pool vibe - just wonderful ♥️ We highly recommend!

The tide was really low during our stay so the beach was unswimmable - so keep that in mind if you’re looking for beach activities Also would be a nice addition to have an outdoor shower in Villa or at the entrance from the beach - but it didn’t influence any of our experience

Easy check-in and warm welcome by Auum, rather simple breakfast but everything was tasty and nicely presented, a super comfortable villa that we felt instantly relaxed stepping into. I loved the design of the place, I think it's perfect for a beachfront villa. As if the great look and comfort of the place was not enough, there's that unforgettable sea view. I miss stepping out at the terrace and just walking down a few steps onto the sand. If you happen to wake up really early, walk along the beach during the sunrise, one of my favorite moments of my Thailand trip. The location is very strategic, walking distance to Fisherman's Village with a variety of options for food or drinks, cool beach clubs along both Bangrak and Bo Phut beaches, you can get a Grab (similar to Uber) in just a couple of minutes and there is easy access to most of the popular places in Koh Samui. Whenever I happen to visit a destination twice, I often look for a different accommodation option to check out the second time around. When I'll come back to Koh Samui though, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Sometimes - not every evening/night - there's a party at one of the beach clubs and the loud music does reach the villa. It was not an issue for us, but if you are a sensitive sleeper and you usually go to bed early, you might want to carry a pair of earplugs with you, just in case. As I said though, it does not happen daily, we only witnessed this on a Friday evening. It looks like there are two separate cleaning crews, one that's responsible for the daily housekeeping of the interior and one that's responsible for the outdoor facilities (pool and terrace). During the 3 nights of our stay, even though it was rather windy and the terrace - as well as the pool - were full of leaves since day one, no cleaning took place at the outdoor facilities. It did not affect our holidays, so there was no reason to complain about it. The worst part though was that, on the morning of our check-out, when we just wanted to enjoy the stunning view for the last couple of hours before our 11:00 departure, that was when someone finally showed up to clean up the pool and the terrace.

We stayed in villa Sol which was amazing! Everything was huge: the bed, the room, the bathroom! Very very roomy and clean, the staff was very friendly. It was worth every penny.

amazing location. Breakfast is very good, the staff were friendly and helpful. Attention to details surprised me a lot. Its the place where you want to come back.
