About this farm stay rental
Peace & tranquillity can be found in this cottages garden setting. The hectare of flowering shrubs and mature trees surrounding the 3-bedroom house cocoons you in a symphony of birdsong from dawn till dusk and is home to resident quail and many rabbits.
Points of interest is the historic "Sayers Slab Whare" located on the property and access to an additional private picnic retreat set in a native forested area with its own rambling creek where you can paddle and cool off (5-minute walk).
This property is unsuitable for persons with disabilities or cat allergies as there is a resident puss living on site. House entry is through a garage/function room and up shallow, moderately steep steps.
This home is surrounded by a working farm and its access is via a metalled road, farm track and a one-way bridge (no side panels). The road is suitable for all vehicles and in all weather conditions although it can be challenging to find :)

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was a quick drive to Carterton and amenities yet felt away from the tourist bustle of weekend visitors to Wairarapa. We have no negative comments to leave texcept I I left a pillow behind and would like to contact Kath for retrieval
