    The staff was very helpful and friendly and manage to allocate our 2 rooms on the same floor at short notice. The breakfast spread is delicious and a great start to the day ahead. The rooms are clean and comfy.

    Stayed 2 nights at Toyoko Inn Tottori as a solo traveler and everything was great. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes walk from Tottori Station. One thing I really appreciated was the luggage delivery service, the hotel helped arrange and send my huge luggage from Tottori to Osaka with zero hassle. Also, their breakfast was SO good!! Already missing it 😭 This was actually my first time staying with Toyoko Inn even though it was my second time visiting Tottori, and I’ll definitely come back to stay here again on my next trip to Tottori.

    Very nice stay! Clean, comfortable, and in a super convenient location near the station. Just be aware that checkout is at 10am, which is a bit early. Overall, great value and I’d stay again.

    Everything was fine until we checked out. Didn't realize the check out time was 10am as other hotels are 11am. I have packed up my bag and decided to go opposite mall to grab a bento lunch at 10am. When I came back around 10.20am, the reception asked me whether I'm checking out. He said I have passed the check out time. I apologized that I didn't realized the check out time and I will go up to take my bag and come down right away. At first he said ok, he will not charge. Then when we were in the lift trying to go up, the access card was blocked. The same guy told us that his manager said unable to waive the 1000 Yen late charges. After getting the access card unblock, we went up but the card unable to get into the room. I have to go down again to unblock the card and he come again and demanded for the 1000 Yen. I told him, can you just let me go up to get my bag first then only we talk about it. When I finally got my bag down, it is already after 10.30am and he said that after 10.30am he can't waive the 1000 yen. At last he said, if we don't pay, he will have to call the police! I was like......hello......for 1000 yen, you want to call the police? We give up and paid. The thing is, the check out time is 10am, shouldn't your reception highlight to us during check in. They expect us to read the slip given to us during check in. Very disappointed with the way they handle this situation.
